Epsom fireworks is Saturday 7 November at Hook Road Arena: gates 5.30pm, display 7.30pm. Online tickets £12 until 31 October, then £15. No gate sales.
Epsom’s fireworks display has a confirmed date and tickets are already on sale. Epsom Fireworks and Funfair is on Saturday 7 November 2026 at Hook Road Arena, Chessington Road, Epsom KT19 8QG. Bonfire Night itself falls on Thursday 5 November this year, so the display is the Saturday after it.
The one thing worth acting on now: a standard ticket is £12.00 until 31 October, then £15.00. Everything below is from the organiser’s own website and its booking system, checked on 5 September 2026 and re-checked on 28 September and 3 October 2026.
Updated 3 October: the £8.50 early bird price has ended. Sales paused on 1 October, when the booking page read “Tickets for this event are not available yet”, and reopened with a “Special Advance” price of £12.00 that ends on 31 October.
Epsom fireworks 2026 tickets: how many are left
On 3 October 2026 the booking system showed 7,075 standard tickets left, down from 7,482 on 28 September and 8,307 on 5 September. 86 of the 100 premium tickets were left. At the £12.00 advance price, a family of two adults and two children aged five or over pays £48 plus the £2.50 booking fee; from 1 November it is £60 plus the fee. Under-fives stay free either way but still need a ticket. There are no gate sales at all, so the only way in is to book online at epsomfireworks.ticketsrv.co.uk.
Times on the night
Straight from epsomfireworks.com and the booking page:
- Gates open 5.30pm and the site is listed as open until 9.30pm.
- Low-noise children’s show at 6.30pm. The organisers describe this as a display for younger children, and it is included in the price of the main ticket rather than sold separately.
- Main display at 7.30pm.
- The bonfire is lit straight after the main display. It was reinstated in 2021 after what the organisers call “numerous requests”.
- The funfair runs through the evening. Rides are pay per ride and take cash, so the ticket price does not cover them.
The display is fired by Illusion Fireworks Ltd, which the organisers say has provided both shows for the past eleven years. Their own welcome page puts about £20,000 of aerial fireworks in the air and says roughly 150 volunteers work the night.
Tickets: prices, and the deadline that matters
Tickets are online only. The organisers are explicit that “there will be no tickets available on the gate”, and they warn against buying from social media sellers.
| Ticket | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard, age 5+ | £12.00 until 31 October, then £15.00 | The booking page prints “Buy Now for Special Advance Prices (ends 31st October)”. The £8.50 early bird ended on 30 September |
| Child, age 0 to 4 | Free | Still needs a ticket booked |
| Premium, age 5+ | £30.00 | Advance only, and only 100 exist |
| Carer, age 16+ | Free | Evidence must be uploaded when booking |
A £2.50 booking fee applies per order, not per ticket, and refunds cannot be offered after purchase. Previous displays have sold out.
The premium ticket is new enough to be worth explaining: the booking page says holders get “access to a dedicated entry gate to avoid queuing and watch at specific area at the front of the arena”. On 5 September the system was still showing all 100 of them, alongside 8,307 standard tickets.
The free carer ticket needs one of the following uploaded during booking: a valid blue badge, a letter or allowance book confirming Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment, an Attendance Allowance or Carer’s Allowance letter of award, Incapacity Benefit books or an Employment and Support Allowance confirmation letter, a Certificate of Visual Impairment or BD8, or an Access Card.
No dogs are allowed.
Parking: there is none, and the restrictions start at noon
This is the part people get wrong every year. The organisers’ travel page says in capitals that there is no parking at Hook Road Arena or the surrounding area, and it goes further:
There are parking restrictions on all the local roads surrounding the Arena. These restrictions will run from 12 noon until 11pm on the day of the display, patrolled by traffic enforcement officers during this time.
Cars parked in those areas during that window can be reported to a traffic enforcement officer or by email to SurreyParkingEnforcement@nslservices.co.uk. Residents are asked to use driveways and off-street parking, or to park on adjacent roads outside the restricted zone. Our parking in Epsom page covers the borough car parks and their evening rules for the rest of the year.
Disabled parking bays are at NESCOT, one of the park and ride sites. The organisers are honest that the event site is a field which “is not suitable and cannot accommodate wheelchairs”.
Free park and ride, and the buses
The free service was introduced in 2000 because the arena has no suitable parking. It runs 5pm to 9.45pm, with the last pick-up at 7pm and the last drop-off at 9.45pm.
- Park and ride car park: NESCOT, Reigate Road, Ewell. The organisers warn the car parks “are likely to fill up very early due to unprecedented demand”.
- Bus pick-up and drop-off points, which the organisers explicitly ask you to use in preference to park and ride: Longmead Industrial Estate, Epsom Railway Station, Tolworth Railway Station, and the Ruxley Lane and A24 junction.
- Routes: 1 for Longmead and Epsom Station, 2 for NESCOT, 3 for Tolworth Station and Ruxley Lane.
If you are driving to Epsom at all on the day, check our roadworks and travel page first, because the restrictions around the arena sit on top of whatever Surrey County Council already has running.
Where the money goes
The event is run by volunteers and the profits go to youth charities across Epsom and Ewell through the Epsom Fireworks Charitable Trust, registered charity 1197031.
Other fireworks near Epsom in 2026
If Epsom is not right for you, two other displays within a short drive have published 2026 dates on their own organisers’ pages.
- Esher Rugby Fireworks Night, Friday 6 November 2026, the night before Epsom, at Esher Rugby Football Club, 369 Molesey Road, Walton-on-Thames KT12 3PF. The club says gates open at 5pm and the display is at 8pm, with a funfair, street food and live entertainment. Tickets are sold in advance through the club; its Eventbrite listing says there are no refunds.
- Brockham Bonfire, Saturday 7 November 2026, the same night as Epsom, on Brockham Green between Dorking and Reigate. Entry is by voluntary donation and car parking in the fields costs £10 per car. The village closes to traffic at 5.30pm, and the organisers advise arriving between 6pm and 7pm and joining the torchlight procession. It is one of the few big Surrey displays you can simply turn up to.
The awkward question about Hook Road Arena
The display has been at Hook Road Arena since 1984, when it outgrew the Convent site in Dorking Road. It started in 1971 as a small display and bonfire at St Martin’s Junior School, then moved to a field behind The Linton Centre and then to Dorking Road, where the Round Table joined in and the funfair was added. Worth flagging: the organisers’ home page says “for the past 35 years at Hook Road Arena”, which does not square with the 1984 date on their own history page.
More to the point for future years, Epsom and Ewell Borough Council agreed on 23 July 2026 to make Hook Road Arena a strategic priority and has commissioned a Best Value Feasibility Study into the site’s suitability for “a mixed-use leisure and residential development”. The consultant’s final report goes to the Strategy and Resources Committee before 31 March 2027, and any decision to build would fall to the new East Surrey Council. The council’s announcement does not mention the fireworks display or any other existing event at the arena. We have covered that decision in more detail on our Hook Road Arena page.
What it means for you
- Saturday 7 November 2026, Hook Road Arena KT19 8QG. Gates 5.30pm, children’s show 6.30pm, main display 7.30pm.
- Buy before 31 October and you pay £12.00 rather than £15.00 a head.
- Do not plan to drive. There is no parking at the arena, the surrounding streets are restricted from noon to 11pm, and the free buses stop picking up at 7pm.
- If you need step-free or wheelchair access, read the organisers’ own warning first: the site is a field.
- The borough council’s own What’s On calendar does not list the display, so treat epsomfireworks.com as the source of record.
